Katie works as a physiotherapist in the NHS and in turn sees all sorts; from neurological injuries to musculoskeletal sprains, strains, fractures and tendinopathies. Physiotherapy has become part of her character, so she can't switch it off! If you have a niggling low back pain or a recent ankle sprain, she aims to adapt the class and exercises to you.
She is not known for her huge abs or her body building physique, nor is she the typical yogi who can bend into a pretzel shape. But that isnt important, as long as she can train your muscles to achieve whatever challenge you are aiming for.
In her personal life, she trains with her Dad to do the Everest Base Camp trek in 2019 whilst transporting unwanted NHS equipment to the local orthopeadic hospital which is still struggling from the earthquakes.
Out of work, she often takes out the stresses of life through dog walking and attending the more dance based classes at Tribeca so dont be surprised to see her bouncing around to 90's sound tracks and most likely singing along.
